Abstract
The valuation of ecosystem services can play an important role in conservation planning and ecosystem-based management. Benefit transfer is the valuing methodology focused by this paper. This technique applies the results of previous environmental valuation studies to new policy or decision-making contexts. For policy makers, regulators and natural resource managers, the resources necessary for original empirical resource valuations are often unavailable. A common alternative to original valuation studies is the practice of benefit transfer. Also in this study we has been used a function transfer method and transfer a recreational value from radio-darya beach (as a study site) to sitra beach (as a policy site). In the framework, total annual recreational value of sitra beach is estimated to be about 638 million Rials in 2014. The results show that 65 percent of investigated individuals will to pay for recreational usage of mentioned coast. The average of WTP is 1426.5 Rial for each visit.
