Abstract
The purpose of this study is assessing environmental aspects of the crude oil tanks production of Qeshm in the construction phase, to provide the strategies for reducing adverse effects. Due to construction of the Qeshm oil terminal in the initial construction phase, the conditions of establishing the environmental management system is provided by environmental monitoring and audit. In this paper, the checklist and brainstorm methods (FMEA risk assessment method) were used to identify the environmental aspects, environmental measurements, monitoring during the project accomplishment, and finally the project assessment. In this study, 11 important activities were identified which among the current activities in the site, the non-engineering equipments and current methods in the refuelling equipments caused the environmental risk priority number is 120. The use of absorbing well at the beginning of the project and soil contamination by human waste caused this aspect has the greatest negative impact on the environment by earning the score of 560. The late collect of scrap metal sandblasting led to soil contamination, on the one hand, and Failure to service bag filter batching system on time makes the soil and air pollution is one of the most significant environmental effects of the related activities to the above. Considering most of the obtained risks were high, the corrective measures were presented to reduce the risks based on the expert opinion.
