The importance and role of vegetation on the ecological structure of urban environment is well
known. Forest plantations Park is a part of urban forests. These plantations have been reported to
benefits of a forest as well as social benefits, and thus used to meet the different needs of outdoor
recreation users. In this research the area was allocated with 28 ha forimplementation. The general
policy of this research was to maintaining, equipping, and improving the area for recreational use,
connecting to the urban forest ecological network, and the maintaining green belt continuity of Tehran
for limiting the urban development of the Tehran mega city. After finding popular lookout and
determination area relative quality of views in the designed area, designation of specific site with
considering the ecological, social, cultural, and ecological aspects of landscapes was conducted. The
programmings of management plan were founded and a proposed program was presented. It was
considered the use of landscape ecology approach and principles in integration with the aesthetic, can
maintain the function and ecological sustainability of this spaces for the mega cities such as Tehran
that consist of varied types of environmental.
