Abstract
Sustainable development is an integral aspect of higher education, as universities contribute to shaping future leaders and have substantial impacts on the environment. This study examines the University of Kurdistan's approach to sustainability using the Green Metric ranking system, introduced by the University of Indonesia in 2010. The findings indicate that while the university has taken initial steps, its efforts remain limited in areas such as waste management, transportation, and sustainability education. This research highlights opportunities for improvement and emphasizes the need for structured policies and targeted investments to advance sustainability goals.
